Middle managers are in direct contact with employees, and they create various roles for both sexes. In the Gender Network of Sweden’s Fiber Optic Valley, middle managers have found out how they can boost gender equality in their teams.

This is a question that tends to arise when Swedes meet men and women from other countries. And yes, we have come a long way. But surely we need to go further. One risk of project initiatives is that the results tend to be shelved. Another is that recently started projects may have to begin again from the beginning: a great deal of energy and funding goes into reinventing the wheel. Jamstall.nu exists to change this situation.
